First stop is San Francisco where the tour itinerary currently includes a baseball game (Oakland A's v Boston Red Sox, thks Mary) and a tour of Alcatrez (need to watch my back here, Sonia and kids may try and leave me behind!)
Many other things to check out also - Golden Gate, Fisherman's Wharf, cable cars, Union Square (shopping district, will need to watch Sonia closely), Chinatown.

PMSL my stupid DH is refreshing the screen waiting for a comment on his post, god he drives me crazy. I'm on another PC, waiting to hear him yell out "I got a comment" God I'm a horrible person playing with him like that!
Wow, this is going to be nice to follow your steps during this long trip.
I've never been to the US and I am curious to see what you guys will visit and take in picture.
Can't wait to see the first ones in San Francisco... just hope it won't be only some of Sonia and Sam's shopping bags!
