Scuba Steve Signing In

Allright, today was our earliest start to date, up at 6.30am to get on bus to Xel-Ha at 8.00am.

Got there at 10.00am and were snorkelling by 10.02am.

Here are some pics of us using our new camera, everyone is now calling me Scuba Steve (from Adam Sandler's Big Daddy movie).

Then we had a casual float down the river in a tube each. I fell off at the start because I was being a smarty and tried to get in with no assistance, could hear the kids and everyone else (inc strangers) laughing for the next 10 mins. This was fun but went little long due to lack of current.

You'll see that Sonia's toes make another guest appearance, with good Mac toe nail polish!

Also below some of the beautiful surroundings.

Pics below of me and the kids at the "Cliff of Courage", a massive cliff and vertical drop to the sea bed, pictures distort the real height

Finally some pics of the wildlife. The birds have amazing colors, and the Iguanas (hope I have spelt right) just wander around everywhere. Scott - maybe your girls would like one of these for a pet, less hassle than a mouse?

General consensus was that Xel-Ha was a winner, even just to swim around with the fish was worth it but you get so much more including all you can eat and drink (inc spirits) for $100 (or 1000 pesos) per person.

Tomorrow afternoon we are off to the bullfight. WARNING: viewers of tomorrow nights post may find it disturbing because they have told us that the bull gets killed at the conclusion of the fight. This surprised us but I guess it is a sport, man v bull.

Enjoying everyone's comments, I feel like I have a whole lot of new friends to share our fun with.

Hasta La Vista

SeƱor (or Scuba to some) Steve
